2) Timings for the Course
Weekdays: Evenings from 1900 hrs to 2100 hrs IST
Sunday: 1000 hrs to 1600 hrs IST
>>> Final Examination – (Oral, Written and Practical) would held on Sunday 21st February 2010.
>>> Course will not be held on Thursday, 18th February 20010.
Every course would be meant to accommodate 20 applicants who would be selected on first come first served basis.
3) Curriculum of the Course
The course would cover basic disaster management topics from academic and practical perspective viz., First-Aid, Fire Fighting, Bandages, Casualty Lifting Methods, C.P.C.R. (Cardio-Pulmonary & Cerebral Resuscitation), Search & Rescue, Crowd Control & Management, Communication & Co-ordination, Leadership, Situation Reaction, Nuclear-Chemical-Biological Warfare, Psychological Counseling, Animal Attack Cases, etc.

THE COURSE IS CONDUCTED FREE OF COST AND THE PARTICIPANTS NEED NOT PAY ANY FEES AS THE COURSE IS CONDUCTED ONLY FOR SOCIAL CAUSE OF PROMOTING DISASTER AWARENESS IN THE MASSES.
THE COURSE IS OPEN TO ALL IRRESPECTIVE OF RELIGION, RACE, CASTE, CREED, GENDER, PHYSICAL DISABILITY, ECONOMIC OR SOCIAL BACKGROUND, ETC.
Once a candidate clears the examination he would be given a certificate for completing the course successfully. After this the participant would be called D.M.V. (Disaster Management Volunteer) and can serve in various sevas like Siddhi-Vinayak Seva, Mahalaxmi Seva, Mandhardevi Seva, Mount Mary Seva, Anant Chaturdashi, Gauri-Ganpati Visarjan Seva, etc).
