P. P. Aniruddha Bapu cordially invites all the bhaktas at his house (address mentioned below) for taking the darshan of Lord Ganpati Bappa on account of Ganesh Festival. As like every year the festivities would start from today i.e. the auspicious day of Ganesh Chaturthi (23rd August 2009) and would continue till 25th August 2009. On the 3rd day, the Visarjan (Punar-Mipal Miravnuk Sohola - (Immersion Ceremony)) of Lord Ganpati's idol would take place.
The Schedule of Darshan Timings
Sunday & Monday: 11:00 am - 8:00 pm
Tuesday: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
The immersion is carried with a huge procession, which starts from Happy Home, Khar and ends at Juhu Beach, Andheri. The procession would start at 4:00 pm and would conclude around 10:00 pm. The procession is carried with lot of pomp and joy and also includes and Lezhim Squads, Horses, Musical Troupes playing modern day devotional songs, etc. The procession includes thousands of devotees as participants. The entire procession is regulated and managed by thousands of well-trained volunteers of AADM (Aniruddha’s Academy of Disaster Management) who are called as DMVs (Disaster Management Volunteers).
Further to remind the readers the idol is an eco-friendly one which is made from the holy Ram-Naam books that devotees write.
