We have been seeing 108 Shraddhavans,
together chanting Shree Hanuman Chalisa at Shree Aniruddha Gurukshetram every
year but atleast I was not aware of the reason why we do so. Yesterday during
the tea break while performing chanting, I happened to speak with a karyakarta
sevak (volunteer) of Shree Gurukshetram who told me the importance and meaning
behind this event.
It was before the establishment of Shree
Aniruddha Gurukshetram when Parampoojya Sadguru Aniruddha Bapu asked Poojya
Samirdada to perform upasana so as to establish Kshama Yantra or the mechanism to obtain forgiveness for all the Shraddhavans.
Accordingly Samirdada performed tough upasana and on its completion offered it
at lotus feet of Sadguru Bapu.
Kshama Yantra |
With this offering, Bapu who is known,
seen and experienced by Shraddhavans as an ocean of forgiveness created Kshama
Yantra which is now installed at Shree Aniruddha Gurukshetram so as to spread
this forgiveness of Sadguru in the entire Universe. Along with the upasana that
Samirdada had performed Bapu also offered all the upasana performed by
Aadyapipadada Sureshsinh Dattopadhye in the Kshama Yantra.
The bearer of this Yantra is Lord
Hanumant. Taking darshan of Kshama Yantra even once bestows us with merit of
visiting 108 teerthakshetras (pilgrim places). The Kshama Yantra has to
capacity to absorb all our vices and cleanse us.
Post the establishment of this Yantra it
is required that it is charged every year. As a result 108 Shraddhavans chant
Shree Hanuman Chalisa 108 times throughout the day for one whole week. The commencement
date of chanting is select by Poojya Samirdada which approval from Parampoojya
Bapu. Generally the chanting is organized in the months between April, May or
June.
Shree Hanuman Chalisa Chanting by Shraddhavans |
Day before yesterday with grace of Sadguru
Bapu I had a wonderful chance to be part of this chanting of Shree Hanuman
Chalisa at Shree Aniruddha Gurukshetram. It was wonderful to experience the
bliss of Sadguru throughout the day. It was one of the rare occasions when we
get to spend the whole day just seeing the love-filled face of our beloved
Mothiaai – Mahishasurmardini and experience more and more of Her love.
What was most amazing was the vicinity of
Dharmasan of Sadguru. Watching Dharmasan during chanting made me realize one
important principle; “Experiences arise out of faith and faith gives rise to
more and more experiences”. It was indeed a bliss-filled day.
